Our courses can be delivered on campus, at your workplace or virtually via MS Teams or online open learning packages.
SVQ Qualifications
Many of our courses are designed to meet the registration requirements of the Scottish Social Services Council.
The SVQ courses we currently deliver in Health & Social Care are:
- SVQ Social Services and Healthcare SCQF Level 6 -This qualification is suitable for support workers in care home services who wish to obtain a formal qualification.
- SVQ Social Services and Healthcare SCQF Level 7 - This qualification is suitable for people who are employed in the health and social care sector in a practitioner or a key worker role (these roles may include elements of supervision but are not exclusively supervisory)
- PDA Health and Social Care Supervision SCQF Level 7 - The PDA in Health and Social Care is designed for those involved in supervising others in social services and related settings.
- SVQ Social Services and Healthcare SCQF Level 9 - This qualification is suitable for people currently in a leadership role within the health and social care sector.
- SVQ Care Services Leadership and Management SCQF Level 10 - This qualification is suitable for those with a management role in a care service.
