Support for Students Under 18

Edinburgh College welcomes students aged 16 and 17, although most of our students are over 18. We take special care to ensure the safety and well-being of students under 18, with support systems in place for all students. Please note:

  • Edinburgh College does not provide 24-hour supervision.
  • Students under 18 will attend classes with adults of all ages.
  • Students will travel unsupervised between their homestay and the College.
  • Students will be unsupervised outside of class time and their homestay.

Before arriving, the parents or guardians of students under 18 must sign a parental agreement form to confirm they understand the support systems and rules at Edinburgh College, including the level of supervision we provide. Students will also need to sign this agreement.
